Trois ouvriers irakiens tués par une bombe entre le village de Beshir et Kirkouk

Trois ouvriers irakiens ont été tués et deux blessés aujourd'hui dans l'exposion d'une bombe près de la ville pétrolière de Kirkouk, dans le nord de l'Irak, a annoncé un responsable de la police de cette province.Les cinq victimes, qui travaillent dans le secteur du bâtiment, circulaient en voiture quand la bombe a explosé entre le village de Bachir et Kirkouk, a précisé le général Torhan Youssef.

La province de Kirkouk compte plusieurs communautés qui se disputent le pouvoir: des Kurdes, qui souhaitent son rattachement au Kurdistan irakien, des Turcomans, qui se considèrent comme ses habitants historiques, des Assyro-chaldéens (chrétiens) ou des Arabes, souvent arrivés à l'occasion de la politique d'arabisation forcée de Saddam Hussein.

Three Iraqi construction workers were killed and two were wounded today in a bomb explosion between the village of Beshir and Kerkuk. According to General Torhan Yussef the five victims worked in the building sector, they were circulating in a car when the bomb exploded.

Kerkuk province counts several communities: the Turkmens who consider themselves as its historical inhabitants, the Kurds who want to include it the Kurdish region, Chaldo-Assyrians (Christians) and Arabs who often arrived during Saddam Hussein’s forced Arabisation policy.
