Abbas Erenay, the artist who designed the Turkmen Martyrs Monument, was presented with a plaque...

Turkmen painting artist Abbas Erenay who designed the Turkmen Martyrs Monument in Keçiören district of Ankara visited the representation at the invitation of Iraqi Turkmen Front Turkey Representative Dr. Hicran Kazancı.

During the visit, Abbas Erenay said that he had been working on producing such a monument in Turkey since 2000. ITF TR Dr. Hicran Kazancı thanked the designer of the monument Abbas Erenay for the monument which holds a special importance because it is one of its kind outside Iraq.

Hicran Kazancı said, "We are honored that a Turkmen Martyrs monument has been unveiled in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara; which is the first time that such a monument is unveiled outside Iraq. Your resolution and the efforts of the distinguished Erşat Hürmüzlü have ensured the production of such a monument."

Hicran Kazancı said "The support of the distinguished Erşat Hürmüzlü in the unveiling of this monument, which is appreciated by our nation, is an example to all in the Turkmen cause. As we extend our gratitude to Brother Erşat, we are expecting necessary contributions to unveil a Turkmen Martyrs monument also in Istanbul."

At the end of the visit, Iraqi Turkmen Front Turkey Representative Dr. Hicran Kazancı presented Turkmen painting artist Abbas Erenay with a plaque for the contribution he made to the Turkmen cause by designing the Turkmen Martyrs Monument which is called the Unknown Soldier.
