The European Parliament is set to launch its own TV network, EuroparlTV on Wednesday. The web-based, four-channel service will provide live streaming of parliamentary debates, but also a full schedule of political programming in 23 languages, including programmes targeted at young people. Its boosters hope it will be a force for European integration and at least as successful as the CSPAN, the United States' congressional news channel.
