TO THE TURKMEN PUBLIC

The press office of the Head of Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITF) Member of Parliament Erşat Salihi issued a statement to the Turkmen public indicating that he would participate in the Parliamentary elections to be held in  2014 with another political entity. The Iraqi Turkmen Front is a political entity registered under the name of Erşat Salihi the Head of Iraqi Turkmen Front and the news published in the social media as well as some press sites are unfounded. We announce to the Iraqi Turkmen people that during this critical period we are executing serious works in order to realize our national and future solidarity.

We shun any behavior which may bring harm to the Turkmen people. Our sole endeavor is to unite and put the Turkmen people on a solid foundation as we are approaching elections. At the same time we call on everyone to refrain from making sensitive statements during this critical period and commit to holding the interests of the Turkmen people above all else.
